After a 3-0 home ODI series sweep against West Indies, the Indian women's cricket team is set to welcome Ireland for a three-match ODI series in Rajkot, starting January 10acegame888, 2025. It will also be Ireland’s first-ever women’s bilateral series against India in India.

But Ireland enter the India tour on the back of a 3-0 T20I whitewash of Bangladesh, and the hosts should not take them lightly.

Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Bengal, Mizoram, Manipur, and Odisha -- the eight quarterfinalists at the Senior Women's National Championships in Pune will compete in the first phase of the league.

The Indian women's hockey team is set to travel to Antwerp and London to face Argentina, Belgium, Germany, and Great Britain in the FIH Hockey Pro League starting May 22.

Ireland have announced their squad for the series. Gaby Lewis will lead the team, with all-rounder Orla Prendergast as her deputy. Wicketkeeper-batter Amy Hunter will miss the tour after sustaining a foot injury, and the 20-year-old Joanna Loughran has been called up to the 15-member squad as a replacement.
